Zoppé Family Circus Drive-In
Back for Another Year by Popular Demand
The much-loved Zoppé Family Circus is returning to Tucson for their tenth appearance in the last decade, this time with a new, multimedia show in a Drive-In setting in the Mercado District. Prompted by safety concerns in the Covid era, circus-goers will now be able to enjoy the great spectacle of the circus from the safety of their own vehicles. The live show onstage will be broadcast onto giant LED screens, with audio broadcast directly via FM radio. All Pima County Health Department guidelines for public safety will be followed.

A: Where is the Mercado District?
Q: located West of 1-10 South of Congress Street and North of Cushing Street.
Q: How will this year differ? Zoppé retains all the same charm and connective performance as always. This year, of course, instead of the tent seats and bleachers you will be viewing from your vehicle. An LED screen is suspended to allow for greater viewing as well as display our original behind the scenes film intermixed with the live performance.
Q: How long does the performance last?
A:The show is 75 minutes. One half an hour before the show is our unique pre-show welcoming of the cars and just prior to the start of performance an old-fashioned circus parade through the cars.
Q: Will small children be frightened?
A: Unlikely. The Zoppé circus uses no wild animals, black-outs or aggressive special effects.
Q: Are the animals used in the show treated humanely?
A: Always. Circus animals are a beloved part of circus families. The Zoppé family uses only domesticated dogs and horses in their productions.
Q: Are tickets refundable?
A: No, but they are transferable to another party.
