About Honor the Earth: Founded in 1993 by Winona LaDuke and the Indigo Girls, Honor the Earth uses music, the arts, media, and Indigenous wisdom to provide financial and political resources for the survival of sustainable Native communities. Now celebrating our 30th year as the nation’s largest Indigenous-led environmental non-profit, our mission is to create awareness and support for Native environmental and sovereignty issues and to amplify the voices of those attempting to be silenced.
